Ready to give the water-loving kid or teen in your life the best aquatics camp experience? Check out the:
COACHé Summer Swim Camp Series 2025
COACHé, in collaboration with the Petawawa Predators Swim Club, is offering 3 summer camps for children & youth this summer.
Who is the camp for?
Water-loving kids and teens who are able to swim 50m continuously in front crawl, or more, and competitive swimmers seeking summer training opportunities.
No competitive swimming background is required, however, we will be offering one or more levels for those who are competitive swimmers looking for training opportunities this summer in between regular season sessions.
Each camp will offer grouped ability levels based on registration to be sure to tailor our program to your swimmer’s needs.
Considering competitive swimming in September? These camps are also a great way to try the sport!

What is offered?
The Summer Swim Camps are designed to offer your swimmer stroke development, speed, and efficiency training in an inclusive and healthy manner.
Each camp offers dry sessions for breathing techniques, physical literacy, and full body activation, along with 3+ hours of pool training time per day!
In the pool, campers will learn stroke technique, efficiency, and water skills like diving, dynamic tricks, and confident submersion.
Campers will leave feeling more capable and confident with their strokes and skills in the water, and will have gained valuable knowledge about healthy practices to apply in all sports.
Who are the Coaches?
All camps feature professional National Coaching Certification Program Coaches from the Petawawa Predators Swim Club and COACHé staff group, offering tailored performance training for your young athlete.
Led by Head Coach Ché Breckon, the camps feature professional coaching that leads your swimmer to achieve their goals and have fun among their peers, safely.

Having turned to coaching at the age of 11 after experiencing health challenges as a young swimmer, Che found her place in the sport of competitive swimming. Training under her mother, Coach Jan, who served as Head Coach in 3 competitive swimming clubs including Breakers in Port Elgin, CANDU in Deep River and with the Petawawa Predators, Coach Che emerged as a top small club coach in the province of Ontario. She, working alongside a group of dedicated parents, helped to build up the CANDU swim club in 2011 - 2014 and then expanded her reach into Petawawa, taking on the coaching contract there in 2013/2014 season until today.
Since then, PPSC has seen incredible growth and performance at all ages. Coach Che is also a leader in the competitive swimming community, having led the Swim Ontario Coaches Committee for 5 seasons and facilitating Competitive Swim Camps on behalf of the Eastern Region of Swim Ontario regularly for a decade.
Her team boasts swimmers who are learning to race their first 25m distances and those who are qualifying for and performing at the top competitions in the Province. This experience, coupled with her passion for youth, sport, and community building is all bottled up in the Summer Swim Camp Series of 2025. Coach Che will bring everything she has learned over the years of coaching more than 1000 athletes to learn to love swimming and achieve their personal best.

Having trained under Coach Che, swimming with the Petawawa Predators Swim
Club in her final season before heading out to university, Coach Alice is the kind of youth you want teaching your child in the water. Coach Alice has mastered her stroke technique over multiple seasons as a competitive swimmer and has developed as a coach on deck, achieving her certification as an NCCP Fundamentals Coach. She is a highly accomplished Student Coach Athlete with the swim club and brings inspiration to the up-and-coming swimmers as an example of what sport can bring to a young person’s life.
